Cotton is a kind of natural textile fiber, used to produce apparel, home furnishings, and industrial products. Its fibers are categorized into carded cotton yarn and combed cotton yarn according to its spinning process. The grades of cotton yarn are measured by the length of its staple fibers. Longer staple fibers are higher-grade cotton and are sold at higher prices. Pima is one of the example.
